Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the services of Ace Skips & Waste. These terms and conditions govern your use of our skip hire services and constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Ace Skips & Waste. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, please refrain from using our services.

1. Definitions
1. "Ace Skips & Waste" refers to the skip hire business and its representatives.
2. "Customer" refers to any individual or entity using the services of Ace Skips & Waste.
3. "Skip" refers to a large waste container provided by Ace Skips & Waste for temporary waste disposal.
2. Booking and Payment
1. To hire a skip, the customer can make a booking by contacting Ace Skips & Waste through our designated communication channels, including the Ace Skips & Waste website.
2. The customer must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking, including the delivery address, skip size required, and the duration of the hire period.
3. Ace Skips & Waste will provide the customer with a quotation for the skip hire service, including all relevant charges such as delivery, collection, and disposal fees.
4. The customer agrees to pay the quoted amount in full prior to the delivery of the skip, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
5. Payment can be made through the accepted methods available on the Ace Skips & Waste website, such as credit card or electronic transfer.
6. By making a booking through the Ace Skips & Waste website or any other communication channel, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Skip Delivery, Use, and Collection
1. Ace Skips & Waste will make reasonable efforts to deliver the skip to the specified location at the agreed-upon date and time.
2. The customer must ensure that there is adequate space for the skip to be placed and that the access to the designated area is clear and unobstructed.
3. The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or authorizations required for the placement of the skip, such as from local authorities or property owners' associations.
4. The customer must use the skip for its intended purpose only, which includes the disposal of nonhazardous waste materials. Prohibited items may include but are not limited to hazardous materials, asbestos, chemicals, flammable substances, and liquids.
5. The skip must not be overloaded beyond its designated capacity, as specified by Ace Skips & Waste. Overloaded skips pose safety risks during transportation and may result in additional charges or refusal of collection.
6. The customer must not move the skip from its original placement without prior written consent from Ace Skips & Waste.
7. Once the hire period has ended, the customer must request the collection of the skip from Ace Skips & Waste. The collection will be scheduled as soon as reasonably possible.
8. In the event that the skip is not ready for collection on the agreed-upon date, the customer may incur additional charges for extended hire periods or related costs.
4. Responsibilities and Liability
1. Ace Skips & Waste will exercise reasonable care and skill in delivering and collecting the skip and disposing of the waste materials.
2. The customer assumes all responsibility and liability for the waste materials placed in the skip, including but not limited to the type of waste, its volume, and its proper disposal. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold Ace Skips & Waste harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from the disposal of waste materials, including any environmental or regulatory violations.
3. Ace Skips & Waste shall not be liable for any damage caused to the customer's property or any thirdparty property during the delivery, placement, or collection of the skip, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Ace Skips & Waste.
4. Ace Skips & Waste shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the waste materials or any personal belongings left in or around the skip during the hire period.
5. In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions by the customer, Ace Skips & Waste reserves the right to refuse service, terminate the skip hire agreement, and recover any losses or damages incurred as a result.
6. The customer acknowledges that waste disposal regulations and requirements may vary based on location and agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Ace Skips & Waste shall not be held liable for any non-compliance by the customer.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
1. If the customer wishes to cancel a booking, they must provide notice to Ace Skips & Waste as early as possible.
2. Cancellation charges may apply, depending on the notice period provided and any costs incurred by Ace Skips & Waste in relation to the booking.
3. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with Ace Skips & Waste's refund policy, which may be subject to deductions for any incurred expenses or charges.
6. Intellectual Property
1. All intellectual property rights associated with the Ace Skips & Waste website, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, and content, are the property of Ace Skips & Waste or its licensors. The customer agrees not to use, reproduce, or distribute any intellectual property without prior written consent from Ace Skips & Waste.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.
2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
8. Severability
1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
9. Hazardous Waste
1. Ace Skips & Waste does not handle or accept hazardous waste materials for disposal. Hazardous waste refers to any waste that poses a substantial risk to human health or the environment due to its physical, chemical, or biological properties.
2. The customer acknowledges and agrees that they will not place any hazardous waste materials in the skip provided by Ace Skips & Waste.
3. Hazardous waste materials may include, but are not limited to, asbestos, chemicals, pesticides, oils, solvents, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, medical waste, and any other materials categorized as hazardous under applicable laws and regulations.
4. If, during the collection or disposal process, hazardous waste materials are discovered in the skip provided by Ace Skips & Waste, additional management and tipping fees will be charged back to the customer.
5. The customer shall be responsible for any costs, fines, penalties, or damages incurred as a result of the presence of hazardous waste materials in the skip, including costs associated with the proper disposal and handling of such materials.
6. Ace Skips & Waste reserves the right to refuse collection and disposal of any skip found to contain hazardous waste materials or to take appropriate legal action in cases of non-compliance.
